Radio is a well developed media option in the Caribbean. The audience is great and in most markets the selection of stations is vast and well segmented by audience group. This makes it a good choice for targeted media.

Radio listenership is usually highest during the morning DRIVE TIME/ PEAK TIME (6a.m.- 9a.m.) & EVENING DRIVE TIME/ PEAK TIME (4 p.m. - 7 p.m.).

When planning Radio, like Television, the general advertisement lengths are 15, 30, 45 and 60 seconds. Rates vary depending on the time of day and programme requested.

Caribbean radio stations are usually very open to sponsored hours, prizes and giveaways. One thing to note is that Caribbean people generally love to hear themselves on the air so these types of programmes are often quite successful.

Get as creative as you like! Caribbean Radio Stations are usually very open to new ideas and embrace new ways to engage their audience in a meaningful way.
